Résumé The name of the second king of the Second Dynasty, spelled Καιέχως in Julius Africanus (Chronographiae F 46, 20) and Καιχῶος / Χῶος in Eusebius, Chronicon I, VII, 2, represents a name read as K3-k3.w, "(The) Bull of Bulls". However, the latter might be based on a misreading of the Wng-plant by an Egyptian scribe.
