Telles quelles, ces compositions témoignent dans le chef des rhéteurs, leurs auteurs, d'un vif intérêt pour l'histoire grecque et d'une connaissance assez sûre de l'historiographie et de la littérature oratoire. |

| Résumé | In BGU 7.1674, a revision yields an attestation of the word σειρά (for garlic braids). Although it is an addendum lexicis with this specific meaning, it is understandable and fits the context. The sender, who is a physician, has arranged for some items that possibly concern medicine (that is, garlic) and certainly concern astrology (that is, an astrological table) to be sent to the recipient. |

| Résumé | The word πῶλος indicates a young animal. The expression πῶλος ἄβολος seems to indicate young donkeys. When a young camel was indicated, either πῶλος or ἄβολος was used. We surveyed all the instances of the word πῶλος as attested in the published documents so far in order to clear out the references to a certain animal. |

Based on the assumption that this is a speaking name ('the Almighty'), a hypothesis is presented that is consistent with what can be read of the meliamb. In addition, a new colometry of the legible part of the poem is proposed. |
