Publication | Homme et "nature" dans l'Antiquité tardive = AntTard 29 (2021) pp. 193-210, figg. |
Résumé | In May 2018, during its field season, the French archaeological mission at Taposiris Magna and Plinthine (MFTMP) discovered a large assemblage of ceramics including a series of handled bowls. Since the handles bear Menas' name, they are interpreted as eulogia. After a first part devoted to the study of the ceramic assemblage, presents the baskets-eulogia, their iconography and undoubtedly ritual use, and their mainly regional distribution. The networks of circulation and exchange between Taposiris Magna and Abu Mina are developed. |
